Air: Five Pieces
A collection of five pieces and seven B&W photographs.
The opening story is a close examination of three images of ex lovers; other stories explore themes of obsession and loss; the language of gay dating sites; the brief and intense connections that happen in bathhouses; and a fairytale about the love between a bear and an otter.
The stories blur the boundaries between the confessional and the fictional, illusion and delusion, and navigate the powerful creative force of longing and the longing to remember.
Earlier versions of all five pieces were published in the magazines Headmaster, Crooked Fagazine, Glitterwolf, The Holy Male, and Flight Journal.
